HOW INSURANCE REQUESTS ARE DISTRIBUTED

Coverage Request operates a lead-distribution service.

A consumer’s insurance request may be provided to one or more licensed insurance agents, agencies, carriers, or insurance-related partners.

Some participating agencies may receive shared leads.

A shared lead may be provided to multiple participating insurance professionals.

Coverage Request may also operate a single-buyer or exclusive-routing category in which only one eligible agency within that routing category receives a particular lead.

Unless Coverage Request expressly agrees otherwise in writing, an “exclusive” or single-buyer routing designation does not necessarily mean that no other insurance professional has received or will receive information concerning the same consumer through another distribution category, source, or arrangement.

Coverage Request may determine routing based on factors including:

Coverage Request may electronically transmit insurance-request information to participating agencies through APIs, webhooks, CRM systems, email, or our agent portal.

Information transmitted may include consumer contact information, insurance-request information, vehicle or driver information, life-insurance request information, consent records, timestamps, source information, and other data reasonably necessary to respond to the request.

We may maintain records concerning delivery attempts, delivery status, response codes, delivery timestamps, and technical responses for operational, billing, troubleshooting, compliance, and dispute-resolution purposes.

COMPENSATED DISCLOSURES, SALE, OR SHARING

Coverage Request may receive compensation for providing qualified insurance requests to insurance agents, agencies, carriers, or insurance-related businesses.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of a disclosure, transferring personal information in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

Where applicable law gives an eligible consumer the right to opt out of certain sales or sharing, Coverage Request will provide and honor applicable methods for exercising that right.

CONTACT REGARDING INSURANCE REQUESTS

When you submit an insurance request and affirmatively provide the consent presented with the form, you understand that your information may be provided to one or more insurance professionals for the purpose of responding to your request.

Those insurance professionals may contact you using the telephone number or email address you provided, subject to applicable law and the consent you provided.

Because certain requests may be shared, more than one insurance professional may contact you.

Submitting a request does not require you to purchase insurance.

Submitting a request does not guarantee an insurance quote, approval, policy, rate, or coverage.
